Overview
Nexxt (formerly Beyond) is a MightyRecruiter job posting site partner and online career platform that caters to employers and jobseekers all around the world. The Nexxt job posting site specializes in sourcing from niche job posting platforms that appeal to specialized audiences. Simultaneously, Nexxt also pushes employer job descriptions to those same niche job boards, like AdministrativeJobs.com and SalesHeads.com, where candidates who seek jobs in specific fields and concentrations are most likely to apply.
Nexxt has been around for nearly 20 years now and was formerly the career site and recruitment media company called Beyond.com. In June of 2017, Beyond.com rebranded into Nexxt, which now counts more than 50 career sites that allow recruiters and hiring managers to leverage nearly 60 million candidates.
Nexxt also provides a candidate retargeting product that allows its business clients to advertise their job to both active and passive jobseekers even after they leave the Nexxt site. That means that even when candidates are on other sites or social media platforms, they’ll still see your hiring message.
Another unique feature that Nexxt boasts is its campaign builder – this tool allows recruiters and hiring managers to personalize marketing campaigns geared towards attracting new candidates via mobile messaging and email.
Other companies that post to this board include Dish Network, Waste Management, Target, Pizza Hut, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. The Nexxt job posting site has also been named Best Places to Work in Philadelphia in 2017 by philly.com.
By posting your job to MightyRecruiter, you’ll be taking advantage of all of the benefits of a Nexxt job posting, plus you’ll have your job ad seen by candidates on numerous other job boards.

Q&A with Danielle Sayer, Nexxt Director of Partnerships & Alliances
1. How would you describe your job posting platform to hiring leaders who’ve never heard of it?
We are a full-service recruitment media company that can connect both passive and active jobseekers to companies that are hiring through a variety of products and postings to our family of niche recruitment websites. We extend the reach of job postings through some of the new products and solutions we are now offering, which is one of the biggest reasons behind our rebranding [from Beyond to Nexxt]. We’ve taken our knowledge of the recruitment industry over the past 20+ years, added our new products, and recreated ourselves as Nexxt.
2. What kind of employers do you primarily cater to?
We have a network of 100+ niche recruitment websites that span across a wide variety of industries so we can help pretty much any recruiter, but our approach to connecting them to the right jobseeker is targeted. When you post a job on Nexxt, we distribute it to relevant career sites based on the type of position and location.
3. What differentiates you from other job posting sites on the web?
The recruitment industry is ever-evolving; it’s continuing to change every single day. But I don’t ever think job postings or [the need for] resume database access will go away. I think the thing that makes us the most different are two things: First, the network of niche job sites that we use to target the right kinds of jobseekers, and, second, the new products that we have available.
Only about 14% of the workforce is actively looking for a new position at any given time. The companies we work with want to reach that passive 86%. They come to Nexxt when they find that they’re not getting in front of that population with the other recruitment tools they’re using. Through text messaging campaigns and through a new product we’ve developed called Candidate Retargeting, we’ve collected millions of pieces of data about the jobseekers that come to our family of niche sites. Also, we’ve worked with third-party marketing companies to collect information on those people who aren’t on any job site. We’re able to target people by placing a job advertisement in front of them wherever are on the Internet, whether or not they are actively searching for a new job.
4. What are the benefits that employers get when their job appears on your platform?
It’s our suite of products, which allow us to get in front of both active and passive jobseekers in ways that are different [from our competition]. The feedback we’ve gotten so far is our clients don’t see the redundancy of jobseekers that they see with some other big-name job boards. That’s mainly due to our niche strategy of tracking jobseeker traffic, which gives clients access to a unique database of candidates and gets their job posts in front of unique eyes. We also send out over 10M targeted emails every day to jobseekers who have opted in. That service is free to our clients, and these emails are what drive jobseekers back to our site to explore these opportunities.
5. What do you think the new Google for Jobs news means for your job posting site?
I don’t believe that it’s going to affect us as much as some others because we’ve evolved so much over the last few years.
6. What advice would you give to employers who want their job posting to attract the best candidates possible?
Never forget what the job search process is like for jobseekers. Just give jobseekers all the details in the job posting, make sure that they’re very reader-friendly. A job ad needs to be something that a jobseeker can look at and quickly see if they’re a good fit or not. Bulleted points are always a good idea; so is making sure that the application process isn’t too long.
7. What’s one thing that hiring leaders might not know about your job posting services?
Sometimes hiring managers are afraid to step outside the box and try something different. I would tell them to consider trying some of our new products and solutions because just a job posting isn’t always going to be the best method of getting in front of the jobseeker you want. There are a lot of other tools and resources out there. Don’t be afraid to try them.
